While we know medication classes like SSRIs and Benzos, the general public know medications for what they do for them: Make them less crazy, help them love life, make them happy, and chill them out a little.

While not textbook, it is important to level with your patient, relate to them, and speak in a way they can understand. It is also an opportunity to educate them.
